These terms apply when you use popit.media, our chat and PoPIt Pad, our customer area at pad.popit.media. By using any of them you accept these terms.

If you buy our services, our terms of business apply to that work as well. How we use personal information is in our privacy policy.

PoPIt.Media is a sole trader business based at Randall Way, Retford, Nottinghamshire DN22 7GR. Our full details are on our legal page.

You may use the website to find out about our services, to contact us, and to use PoPIt Pad for your own projects with us.

Please do not:

1. use the website in a way that breaks the law or harms anyone;
2. try to get into any part of it, or any account, that is not yours;
3. send anything that carries a virus or other harmful code, or try to overload or disrupt the website;
4. copy large parts of it automatically, other than by search engines and similar services that follow our robots.txt file;
5. use the chat or our forms to send spam, abuse or anything unlawful, or to try to make our assistant say something harmful or misleading; or
6. pretend to be someone else.

If these rules are broken, we may end a chat, block an email address from PoPIt Pad or stop someone using the website, and we may report anything unlawful to the police.

The chat is answered by an AI assistant, and a person reads every conversation. The chat window says so, and if you ask whether you are talking to AI, it tells you.

Its answers are general information to help you decide whether to talk to us. They are not professional advice, and only a written quote from us is an offer. The assistant cannot agree a price, give a discount or book work.

The assistant can make mistakes. If an answer matters to you, ask for a person, or check it with us by email.

PoPIt Pad is for our clients and for people who have asked us for an audit, a quote or a second opinion. You sign in with a link we email to you, so keep your email account secure and do not forward the link to anyone.

You are responsible for what is done in your PoPIt Pad while you are signed in. If you think someone else has used it, tell us straight away.

Files you upload must be yours to share and free of viruses. We may remove a file, or close access to PoPIt Pad, if these terms are broken, and we will normally tell you first.

Our free website audit and our second opinion on a quote are our honest view, based on what we could measure and see at the time. They are not guaranteed to be complete, and search positions, speed and other results change from day to day.

An audit only looks at what anyone can see on the public website, as a visitor or a search engine would. Decisions you make after reading an audit or an opinion are yours.

The words, design, graphics and code of this website, and the names PoPIt, PoPIt.Media and PoPIt Pad and our logo, belong to us or to the people who license them to us. The photographs are licensed from photo libraries and may not be reused from this site.

You may view, print and share pages for your own use, and to discuss our services with others. Quoting a short passage with a link back to the page is fine. Otherwise, please do not copy, republish or sell our content, or use our names or logo, without our written permission.

Links to other websites are there for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for them or for anything you lose by using them.

You may link to any page of our website, as long as you do it fairly and legally, and do not suggest that we endorse or work with you when we do not. Please do not show our pages inside another website.

We keep the website accurate and up to date, but prices, services and other details can change. Prices on the website are starting prices. Only a written quote from us is an offer that you can accept.

Our example report and the other examples on the website show how we work. They are not promises of results for your business.

We aim to keep the website available and working, but we cannot promise it always will be, or that it will be free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it.

We take care to keep the website free of viruses and harmful code. Please use your own security software as well.

If you find a security weakness, please tell us as our page on reporting a security problem explains.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

If you use the website for a business, we are not liable for any loss of profit, sales, business, revenue, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from using the website or relying on what it says.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failing to use reasonable care and skill in providing the website. We provide the website for private use, and we are not liable to consumers for business losses.

Our responsibility for services you buy from us is set out in our terms of business.

We may change these terms. The version on this page when you use the website is the one that applies, so please check it from time to time.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your own country's courts.
