Built by us, not bought in
A live chat that learns your business
The chat bubble on this site is our own work, and so is the inbox behind it. It answers from what it's been taught, holds back when it isn't sure, and learns the answer for next time.

What it does
Answers day and night
It replies in seconds, evenings and weekends included, using only what it's been taught: your prices, your services and your rules.
Knows when to stop
It scores how sure it is before it sends anything. Below the line you set, it holds the reply and tells the customer it's checking.
Never loses the lead
When it's stuck it asks for their email there and then, so you can still reach them after they've closed the page.
Learns in one go
You answer a new question once in the inbox. It saves the answer, and the next person who asks gets it straight away.
Sounds like a person
Short messages in British English, at the pace somebody types, with the odd emoji. No chatbot waffle, and it keeps to your tone.
Sees who is looking
The town, the pages and what they searched for, never a name. When someone's clearly interested, it can say hello first.
How it learns
When it doesn't know something, it asks you once. After that, it knows.
A customer asks something new
Say, whether your websites link up with Xero. It isn't in what the chat has been taught, so it doesn't guess.
It holds back and keeps them
It tells them it's checking, asks for their email, and puts the question in front of you with the answer it would have given.
You answer once
Reply to the customer from the inbox, or fix its draft and send that. Either way, the chat saves your answer.
Next time, it knows
The next person who asks gets the right answer from the chat, at any hour, without you lifting a finger.
The inbox behind it
We call it PoPIt Desk. It's where every conversation lands, where the chat is taught, and where you can see who's on the site.

Every conversation in one inbox
Chat, enquiry forms and email sit together. Each reply shows how sure the AI was, and the tags and the pages they'd read are filled in for you.

Held back when it isn't sure
Here it was 30% sure, so it sent nothing it might regret. It asked for an email instead, and its draft waits for you to send, change or teach it.

Taught in plain English
"We don't take on WordPress maintenance for sites we didn't build" is enough. It files that with everything else it knows, next to the hard rules it never breaks.

Who is on the site right now
When somebody looks keen, it drafts a hello that fits the page they're on. Send it, change the wording or leave them be, and it goes on its own after a short countdown.

Questions about the live chat
Is it a person or AI?
It's AI, and the chat says so. It's written to sound natural, not to fool anybody, and if someone asks outright it tells them. A real person reads every conversation.
What stops it making things up?
It can only use what it's been taught. It scores how sure it is before it sends anything, and below the line it holds the reply for a person instead. It never agrees a final price, gives a discount or books anything in.
What happens when it doesn't know?
It tells the customer it's checking, asks for their email and flags the question. You answer it once, and it knows for next time.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. On a phone the chat fills the screen, the typing box is sized so the page never zooms in, and replies arrive at the pace a person types.
Can I see who is on my website?
You see the town, the pages they've read and what they searched for, never a name or an address. Nobody is identified until they choose to talk to you.
Can you build one for my business?
Yes. We teach it your prices, services and rules, give it your look, and set you up with the same inbox and Windows app. Tell us about your business and we'll come back with how it would work for you.
Try it, then ask us
The chat on this page is the real thing. Ask it anything about us, and if you'd like one for your own website, tell us about your business.
